[Processing Example] Repair of resin leakage from the nozzle touch area of the speaker mold.

Performing cutting processing on the in-house lathe, reprocessing the nozzle touch part! A case study of injection molding mold processing.

We would like to introduce a case of repairing resin leakage from the nozzle touch area of a speaker mold. This mold was transferred from mass production in China to Japan at the request of a customer from Yamagata Prefecture, and mass production is set to begin domestically. We were commissioned to conduct trials in-house. During a test trial to manufacture certified products, resin leakage occurred. Upon investigation, it was found that deformation had occurred at the nozzle touch area of the mold's spool bush. As a result, we performed cutting processing on our in-house lathe to rework the nozzle touch area.
